That's all fine and dandy, but I'm a cast member and I know for a fact that TONS of food is THROWN OUT EVERY DAY. Food that has been pre-packaged gets thrown out even though the expiration date is a year from now. They might be doing their part in other areas, but they are obviously lacking in the excess food department. I have seen, as a cast member, whole pizzas and freshly made sandwiches THROWN OUT in backstage areas at the end of the day. Why not donate these items? Or better yet, give these items to hungry international college program cast members.
