I can’t comment on just one character. The entire cast and crew are what make the franchise, as a whole work and attached the audience. Yes, Jack is great. But without Gibbs or the monkey he would lose some of his humor. Without Barbossa, he would have no “Man of his rank” to do “battle” with. Even Captain Teague gives him the humanity of family. I know I am getting deep, but you get the picture. Without them all, there would not be a franchise for us to drool over.
