Marvel Studios Celebrates It’s Upcoming MCU Phase 4 Films!

Disney’s Marvel Cinematic Universe has taken us into the world of superheroes ever since the 2008 release of HULK. Now, we’ve been everywhere with these characters: from a neighborhood in Queens to the outer reaches of the galaxy. In this new featurette, released today, Marvel Studios celebrates the movies with a special look at the upcoming feature films in Phase 4 of the MCU.

The world may change and evolve, but the one thing that will never change: we’re all part of one big family.

The featurette details the upcoming creations from Marvel Studios, including BLACK WIDOW and SHANG-CHI AND THE LEGEND OF THE TEN RINGS, slated to release this year. The featurette also gives us a quick preview of new films starring our friends Doctor Strange, Thor, and Ant-Man.

If you’re excited about the future of the MCU in Phase 4, be sure to check out BLACK WIDOW when it releases on Disney+ later this year.

Marvel’s “Thor: The Dark World” continues the big-screen adventures of Thor, the Mighty Avenger, as he battles to save Earth and all the Nine Realms from a shadowy enemy that predates the universe itself. In the aftermath of Marvel’s “Thor” and “Marvel’s The Avengers,” Thor fights to restore order across the cosmos…but an ancient race led by the vengeful Malekith returns to plunge the universe back into darkness. Faced with an enemy that even Odin and Asgard cannot withstand, Thor must embark on his most perilous and personal journey yet, one that will reunite him with Jane Foster and force him to sacrifice everything to save us all.

Starring Chris Hemsworth, Natalie Portman, Tom Hiddleston, Stellan Skarsgård, Idris Elba, Christopher Eccleston, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje, Kat Dennings, Ray Stevenson, Zachary Levi, Tadanobu Asano and Jaimie Alexander with Rene Russo and Anthony Hopkins as Odin, Marvel’s “Thor: The Dark World” is directed by Alan Taylor, produced by Kevin Feige, from a story by Don Payne and screenplay by Christopher Yost and Christopher Markus & Stephen McFeely and is based on Marvel’s classic Super Hero Thor, who first appeared in the comic book “Journey into Mystery “ #83 in August, 1962.

“Thor: The Dark World” is presented by Marvel Studios. The executive producers are Alan Fine, Nigel Gostelow, Stan Lee, Louis D’Esposito, Victoria Alonso and Craig Kyle. The film releases November 8, 2013, and is distributed by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures.

More Marvel Tokidoki Shirts Bring on the Super+Cute!

It was just about a year ago that I first strolled into Downtown Disney’s West Side shop, D-Street and saw these adorable Marvel Tokidoki crossover t-shirts. Last night I was browsing again and found even more adorable new Marvel Tokidoki shirts. This time, Thor and unicorns are involved. I couldn’t ask for anything better. See the new designs below:

 

As mentioned above, I found these at D-Street, but I’m sure they are available in other shops on Disney property as well. I just love this crossover!

I’ve just now caught up on all the Avengers films leading up to the May 4th release of Marvel’s The Avengers and couldn’t be more excited to see the film tonight at a media screening. I’ll be sure to share my thoughts in an upcoming review, but until then, I have a fun giveaway to share with Zannaland readers!
