OH BOTHER: Tickets Available for Disney’s WINNIE THE POOH Stage Adaptation

Want to visit Winnie The Pooh in the Hundred Acre Wood? Just book a ticket to Broadway! Featuring songs by the Sherman Brothers’ and by A.A. Milne, this beautifully crafted musical stage adaptation of the classic characters opens on Time Square’s Theatre Row beginning October 21, 2021.

WINNIE THE POOH: THE NEW MUSICAL ADAPTATION is developed and presented by renowned family entertainment creator Jonathan Rockefeller – whose spectacular puppetry was previously seen in productions of The Very Hungry Caterpillar Show and Paddington Gets in a Jam.

Tickets to the show are now available here.

Due to an overwhelming response, Rockefeller Productions is opening a new block of weekend tickets for the highly anticipated show.

Jonathan Rockefeller and Rockefeller Productions [in association with Disney Theatrical Productions] embraced the challenge of re-imaging Disney’s Winnie the Pooh for a new audience by bringing it to life on stage in puppet form.

I know that I personally wish I could book a flight to New York just to catch a performance of this show, so stay tuned here for more updates on the production as we receive them!

Teaser Trailer Released for Disney and Pixar’s TURNING RED

Pixar fans who can’t get enough after last month’s Luca are in for a treat this morning as Disney and Pixar release the first teaser for their next project.

Slated for 2022, TURNING RED is the all new original feature film from Pixar Animation Studios’ director Domee Shi, who won an Academy Award for her 2018 short film, “Bao.” Young actress Rosalie Chiang lends her voice to Mei Lee, a 13-year-old who suddenly “poofs” into a giant red panda when she gets too excited. Sandra Oh (“The Chair,” “Killing Eve”) voices Mei Lee’s protective, if not slightly overbearing mother, Ming, who is never far from her daughter—an unfortunate reality for the teenager.

Fans of Bao, which released alongside Incredibles 2 in 2018 will recognize the director’s style immediately. And those excited for Turning Red after this teaser can expect the film in 2022. We’ll have more updates on the film as they are released!

Pirates of the Caribbean Dead Men Tell No Tales Trailer

Hopefully everyone saw the amazing Pirates of the Caribbean – Dead Men Tell No Tales trailer that premiered during Super Bowl LI. I know we had to rewind it a few times to watch. Looks like another fun romp through pillaging and plundering as only our favorite pirates can do. Here is the official story line of the upcoming 5th installment of the Pirates of the Caribbean series:

Johnny Depp returns to the big screen as the iconic, swashbuckling anti-hero Jack Sparrow in the all-new “Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales.” The rip-roaring adventure finds down-on-his-luck Captain Jack feeling the winds of ill-fortune blowing strongly his way when deadly ghost sailors, led by the terrifying Captain Salazar (Javier Bardem), escape from the Devil’s Triangle bent on killing every pirate at sea—notably Jack. Jack’s only hope of survival lies in the legendary Trident of Poseidon, but to find it he must forge an uneasy alliance with Carina Smyth (Kaya Scodelario), a brilliant and beautiful astronomer, and Henry (Brenton Thwaites), a headstrong young sailor in the Royal Navy. At the helm of the Dying Gull, his pitifully small and shabby ship, Captain Jack seeks not only to reverse his recent spate of ill fortune, but to save his very life from the most formidable and malicious foe he has ever faced.

The time is almost here to Be Our Guest and experience Beauty and the Beast’s incredible story brought to life in theatres March 17th, 2017. Emma Watson will bring Belle to life and a host of other stars will make their appearance as the story unfolds on screen. Here is the latest full trailer of Beauty and the Beast, as well as the recently released character posters to give us a sneak peek at the amazing costumes and make-up effects used in the movie. For a limited time starting this weekend, a sneak peek of Disney’s epic new live-action adaptation “Beauty and the Beast” will be presented as part of the One Man’s Dream attraction at Disney’s Hollywood Studios® at Walt Disney World® Resort, and in the Sunset Showcase Theater at Disney California Adventure® Park at Disneyland® Resort, where it can be seen in 3D with special in-theater effects. Each sneak peek location will feature an advance look at a scene from the film, along with a display showcasing a collection of props and costume pieces actually used in the film’s production.

This special 8-minute preview from Disney’s “Beauty and the Beast” begins Feb. 10, 2017 and will be available at Disney Parks for a limited time through March 26, 2017.
