Thanks to Zannaland reader Breana for letting me know LeSportsac had come out with this new print! It looks like a fun new collaboration for Disney Pixar and LeSportsac fans. From the LeSportsac site, we learn a little bit more about who designed this new Monster’s Inc print:
As the production designer of Pixar’s Monsters, Inc., Ratatouille, Presto and Cars 2, Academy Award® winner, Harley Jessup, has built a career designing films that both children and adults can love. For each Pixar feature, his mission has been to create a visually exciting, believable world with appealing characters all in support of a great story.
No mention if this is the first of many Disney Pixar designs, but I’m sure I’m not alone in hoping that it is! I like the hand-drawn look to it, and how the scenes are that of a bustling downtown Monstropolis complete with taxi cabs and “Broadway-like” show marquees. The new pattern seems to come in all of the usual bag styles as well. You can find out more and purchase bags on the LeSportsac site. I’m sure these will be showing up in Disney parks on both coasts soon as well. I’ll keep you posted as I discover anything more!
It’s no secret that we love bringing you the latest Disney designer purses here at Zannaland, and there are certainly no shortage of them lately! I have personally loved the Disney LeSportsac designs from the start because of both the versatility of the bag designs, as well as the tribute to original Disney art that LeSportsac offers. With such wonderful bodies of work from Mary Blair and now Marc Davis, it’s no wonder these bags are instant hits and loved by so many. LeSportsac is truly a great choice for use within the parks as well, with multiple zippered pockets, lightweight, easy-to-clean styles and a choice for every occasion. I know the “it’s a small world” styles were so popular, and I have no doubt the new Tinker Bell patterns will be as well.

Though the popular DisneyIt’s a Small World collaboration came to an end with its final collection this Fall, LeSportsac is teaming up with Disney once again to look back at Minnie Mouse through the decades with Celebrate Minnie print.
Minnie has been reinventing her look for close to 90 years, and now you can witness her transformation (and ever so glamorous wardrobe) through the years in one fun print! In the 1920′s Minnie was classically chic in black and white, while the 30′s introduced a more colorful look when she first started sporting her iconic polka-dot outfits. The 40′s brought her signature bow, and she stayed on trend throughout the fashion revolutions of the 50′s, 60′s, and 70′s – including a flower-power mini-dress with platform shoes! In the 80′s she was working out in her sneakers and sweatshirt, during the 90′s she rocked a ruffled skirt and denim jacket, and the new millennium brought her back to her polka-dot roots. Today Minnie is an inspiration and muse for fashionistas around the world!
Now I don’t recall 1970 Minnie Mouse at all, but I LOVE her! I really liked when Minnie had different outfits all the time rather than her now signature red with white polka dots. What is your favorite time-period?

She was able to visit the LeSportsac showroom, where she got some exclusive photos and learned some great news about Disney and LeSportsac’s design collaboration. Let’s get right to it!
As Oni notes, these new Hawaii designs look like a wonderful tribute to the Disney’s Polynesian Resort, for us Walt Disney World fans. I know I can’t wait to see these in person (and get one too!). Apparently, LeSportsac changed their mind and are now going to sell the Hawaii designs everywhere this Fall, not just in Hawaii (phew!). In addition, she learned that the Hawaii print will not be the last design from this collaboration. Hooray!

Somehow this little beauty slipped by me – check out the new Mickey and Minnie Mouse Hobo Bag by LeSportsac featuring a matching pouch and a vintage style print celebrating our favorite Disney sweethearts! I’ve loved the Disney LeSportsac “it’s a small world” collection featuring art inspired my Mary Blair, but this is a great classic design that I think will appeal to many Disney fans!

LeSportsac’s collaboration with Disney, using Mary Blair-inspired designs under the “it’s a small world” moniker, is quickly gaining popularity just like the Disney Dooney & Bourke collection has done for the past few years. With the success of the initial summer Disney LeSportsac line, the Fall and Winter line started appearing in Disney parks as well as being available for purchase online.
I was recently in TrenD at Walt Disney World’s Downtown Disney Marketplace, and saw many of the new Winter London collection for sale:

The popular partnership with LeSportsac and Disney and their adorable Mary Blair-inspired designs is now giving fans of the bags a chance to win a limited edition reproduction of the artwork that inspired the bag designs. The catch is these giveaways are only happening in the LeSportsac boutiques in New York and Las Vegas. I’ve never wanted to live in New York City or Vegas more than I do right now!

I recently saw the LeSportsac Disney It’s a Small World collection of handbags and accessories and when I saw one of the designs, I fell in love. I ordered one for my upcoming trip to Disneyland in August and it arrived today so I thought I’d post about all the current designs. The collection will be releasing five sets of designs, seasonally, but I couldn’t resist the redheaded mermaid charm that comes on the Tahitian design. Disney It’s a Small World by LeSportsac collection includes five seasonal deliveries, each inspired by a specific country. In addition to celebrating a country, each delivery will be anchored with a Signature Tote and a colorful print that pays tribute to the unique facades and architectural works of Disney’s “it’s a small world” Theme park attraction. The collection kicks off with a celebration of Tahiti that includes two graphic totes and a range of 12 styles in two vibrant prints.
